Ethiopia,
Worka G1
Origin: Ethiopia
Region: Yirgacheffe
Producer: Worka Cooperative
Processing: Washed
Tasting Notes: amaretto, apricot, bergamot, black tea, blackberry jam, lemon-lime
We introduced the Adado G1 from the Yirgacheffe region of Ethiopia a couple of weeks ago, but have you tried its washed counterpart from the same region: Worka G1?"G1" stands for "Grade 1" which is a reference to both density and quality that you often see in top-tier coffee from Ethiopia.
Both live in the adventurous part of our lineup and are just begging to be enjoyed as a pour over. Coffee tastes like coffee, but if you're paying attention, it also tastes like a lot of other things. This one has notes of blackberry jam, apricot, bergamot, lemon, and lime.
